Hi guys

Not long joined this forum on suggestion of porky and matt.
Just saying hi..
Will be doing the BPC south east PL in windsor this sunday in 110kg class.
looking to quallify for british in july, Will be my 1st comp in 17 years, so pretty nervous.

Any advice most welcome:)

JW has a 60kg deadlift, 38kg Bench and and 25kg Squat....

equiped

365x 2 squat
240 x 1 bench
335 x 1 DL

Raw (belt and knee wraps, but sh1te knee wraps)

220x2 (3 with little help) or 180x8 or 9 (bit of bouncing and cheating going onthere tho lol)
340 x 2 squat (not quite hit depth tho)
335 x 1 DL

Suits dont seem to effect my DL at all???????
Make it bit more awkward

But dont know how will feel on day of comp as nervous, so could go either way, break PBs or BOMB:!:

excuse me for being thick, but what does it mean when someone BOMBS?

also the word BOMB means failure to get a 1st, 2nd and 3rd attempt in.

excuse me for being thick, but what does it mean when someone BOMBS?I can answer this one - lol! It means you fail to complete the competition. This is usually done on the squat, but can be done on bench, or if you're really hardcore you can keep everyone guessing by doing really well at sub-total and then bombing on the deadlift.

Welcome JW. Looks like you've shown your hand a bit early. You shouldn't have told anyone how much you can lift then you could surprise everyone on the day!

TBH mate im not that fussed at playing any mind games as im not very experienced, just want to get my lifts in without any hassle, and not worry about anyone else
