Hello all,
I am a new memeber and would like to introduce myself.
My name is Jason, 20 years old and 100kg. I train with Lee Marshall and my brother Matt Griffiths (amongst others) at Lee's 'Colliseum gym' in Birmingham.
My current PB's are:
Squat - 255kg (knee wraps and belt)
Bench - 140kg (Shirted, 125kg raw)
Deadlift - 240kg (Belt)
I have been weight training on and off for about 18-20 months, and have only been focusing on powerlifting for the past few months (I always said i would never do it, however i caught on training with other powerlifters).
I am 5' 7" with short legs, which seems to help with squatting :) But my bench suffers from and bone structure deficency in my left elbow (my left arm is a clear 2 inches shorter than my right!!).
I carry more than desired body fat, so realistically i would naturally be a 90kg lifter, but with more muscle development would fit into the 100kg category nicely.
Currently I am training raw on squat and deadlift and am too much of a cheapskate to buy any equipment! But I'm still making good gains and aim to continue training raw until the Jan next year hoping Santa will leave me some equipment.
I come from a rugby background (which appears to be a trend on here), I've played since the age of 11 and finished a few years ago because of various injuries and general loss of desire.
