V.Ponomarenko dead at 33

Second loss in 6 months. Sad news.
Does anyone knows why did he died? In a forum it says blood-poisoning.

What i read from goheavy forum, it was blood poisoning and that came after some operation he took at hospital...

This is very sad :(, he was so young and he left behind wife and 2 and 4 year old children.

Thats very very sad news and I'd like to send my condolences to Vitaly's family. I lifted against him at IPF European and World Bench Press Championships from 2000 - 2003 (before he left for the WPC).

He was a great guy and a fantastic lifter. :(
