Brilliant! I remember reading about Sri Chinmoy when I was a nipper (I reckon it might've been over twenty years ago). He was alleged to have done some ridiculous calf raise with about 2 tonnes or something - lol!

At least he claims doing that thing with his body.
Much better than those mystics who claim lifting things just by thinking.(although i can lift a 'thing' just by thinking/fantasizing)

That's right Al, I remember the picture of the forty foot long (or whatever) dumbell which, I think, he lifted using a calf raise (and some hydraulics perhaps, if indeed it was lifted at all). I remember reading something by one of his followers who claims that she now realises she was brainwashed (if that's really possible, or at least was very naive).

that dumbell was suspended overhead by sort of coat hangers and he stood underneath and did a lockout with it which was hard to tell if it even moved very similar to that other twat Bud Jeffries

Utter dung. I hope that's not a genuine article. Can't believe they publish this shit.
Might as well give the 270lb dumbell to my Grandma and tell the local paper to make a story and get some quick cash.
