when you put on wrist wraps tight you will notice the hand closes because of the blood circulation. this means your hand will close around the bar tightening your grip
i never use them though

thay have a weak grip
wouldnt really agree there.
andy bolton uses them, im sure the people that use them are trying to enchance their grip and use every possible thing available to them. when the grip is strong, make it stronger type of thing

It closes because it squeezes the tendons. Open your hand, palms facing upwards, then squeeze your wrist. Your fingers will close a little instantly. This is not due to loss of blood circulation, that will take a few seconds at least. If you get complete loss of blood circulation, then it will be harder to grip the bar as the muscles won't be able to get fed enough oxygen.
