Did anyone used those PowerBlock dumbbells? I am thinking about buying a set to my gym and want to hear your suggestions.
Thanks.

yep i got 4 sets weight upto 150lb each , only thing thats a bit of a problem is the selector pins are plastic which i repair with Sikafix liquid rubber unless they get smashed to bits , new version has two extra magnets in and look a bit stronger , big advantage is you can put a set in front of each bench so everyone has a complete set of dumbells to themselves and you dont have to search the whole gym looking for that other dumbell some planks walked off with and not brought back and they keep in order of use in their own stacks.

Is there anything you haven't got Al?!

Make me feel smug and tell me you haven't got a reverse hyper! I've gotta find something you need!

Doc is right! Some Olympic lifters, Nautilius Machines, atlas stones, monolifts, grip tools and lots of other things. Quite a collection. :D
Thanks for the replies.

Dreamjob/Dreamland for a man whose sole purpose in life is lifting weights and smoking cigarettes, reading books between sets.
I hope i'll do the same.

never used them but they only go upto 90lb as oposed to 150lb for the powerblocks , also powerblocks can be increased further by buying an all steel handle and adding magnetic doughnuts on each end

Ironmaster Quicklock dumbells go from 5lb to 160lb (if you order the special add-on sets) in 2.5 lb steps (even smaller increments, of course, if you have some Plate Mates). Can't say enough good things about them! They have the feel of a proper metal dumbell (not plastic bits) and are quick to adjust. Nice thickness to the handle (c. 30-32mm) makes them comfortable as well.
