They have put lightweight up to 198 now, great idea for the 198 pound lifter's. Is anybody going from here?

Ouch...3 catagories only! So 259lbs is about 118kg?!

If I'm over 90kg Lloyd I'm lifting against Ano (lol), more chance of winning the lottery.

The strokes are fairly broad now then! Means a little guy like Kutcher will be up against some 198ers. Will be cool to see what happens though.

You going Chris?

I know, it's bit of a big jump from 75kg to 90kg's... Be interesting though to see if he goes heavyer.

I'm lifting at lightweight bro

I'll just be happy to be lifting with some awesome lifter's and get my squat's deep and not bomb out.

Not suprised your going for the light weights Chris:shock: thats a bit of a shocker making the classes like that.
Pretty good though as it makes it more competitive:mrgreen:

Ano is a great athlete.

At the WPO Semis in Russia he popped something in his back and STILL went on to squat well over 1000pounds! whata guy!

All the best Mr.Jenkins.

I can only dream about making the finals let alone the semis.

with regards to the weight class change, i think its not a good decision from a lightweight point of view. clearly the 90k man is 90% of the time going to be stronger, its not always the case but generally it is a rule. kutchers best is 985 and the best 90kgs total last year was 1025. if kutcher comes in heavier and stronger than his prvious im almost certain he can be up there with the comp.

the only problem with the WPO is that the highest total wins. its not based on lbs for lbs so kutcher wud have to put up the biggest total to retain his title.

but best of luck to you chris. being up there with the best is some achievment in itself. anything after wud be a bonus!
