Sadly the Railway Gym in Ashford has had to close down for good and all the kit must be cleared by early December, The Railway Gym has been the host of 80% of BWLA SE competitions and will be a severe loss, Ian Douglas has given me this list of kit he needs to sell.

Are the bumpers £1 per kilo? What makes/weights are avaiable (for bumpers).
Also what are the BOAR power bars?
Thanks

BOAR made (or might still do?) most of the british made oly and powerlifting kit in this country many years ago i gave them a design for hydrolic squat stands which they made for me but wanted to use in the world masters at milton kenyes before they handed them over this i believe was the first time hydrolic stands had been used in uk
he has bumpers and the plates are all mixed some are elieko i did warn him about plate prices but if its elieko then it would be worth more than £1 a kg

Real shame about Ian's gym closing for good. I competed there on a number of ocassions. With Ron Reeves moving on 3 years ago, and now Ian, we have lost 2 powerlifting giants in the South East.
