HI,
First a thanks to all who recommended peak physique, I started training there last week.
I'm 5 ft 8" and weigh 75kg, new to lifting.
I've decided to start a journal to help me keep up the motivation. My training consists of 2 workouts which I alternate and I train 3 x week. I also do core workouts and running 2 x week.
A
Squat 5 reps x 3 sets
Bench 5 reps x 3 sets
Deadlift 5 reps x 2 sets
B
Squat 5 reps x 3 sets
Overhead Press 5 reps x 3 sets
Pull-ups to near failure x 3 sets
Here are my current lifts
Squat 70kg
Bench 40kg
Deadlift 60kg
Overhead 20kg
Pull-ups 6
I'm looking to add weight each session.

Wellcome mate. Keeping a journal really does help with motivation because people can see if you're progressing or not and if not people can normally offer some really good advice.
Good luck with everything :)

30 - A mere youngster then.
I guess it is good to see these young uns getting involved.
It keeps them of the streets.

Thanks for the replies.
I decided to lower my squat to 60kg today as I was not going deep enough. I have good form at 60kg so I'll up that next time.
Squat 60kg
Bench 42.5kg
Deadlift 70kg

I think I'll have to pop down the gym when Justin is there and get some tips.
A bad day today. Today was due to be squat 67.5 kg, bench 47.5 kg, deadlift either 77.5 kg or 80 kg. After warmup sets squating:
empty bar
40 kg
45 kg
60 kg
On the 1st rep on my 2nd set at 67.5 kg I pulled a quad muscle. I had no problem finishing the rep as I don't go all out on the squat (fear of accident). So today I ended up doing
bench 45 kg 5 reps x 4
pullups 6 reps x 4
Now on Friday I'll do 5x5 of overhead press at 25kg, pullups to failure x 5 sets. Hopefully Monday will be squat, bench, deadlift.
Since last Friday I do 4 sets instead of 3 sets, except for deadlifts which stay at 2 sets.
Favourite exercise, deadlift.
Least favourite, overhead press.

Stirling idea. You're very lucky to train in the same gym as Justin.
Favourite exercise, deadlift.
Least favourite, overhead press.
We are the same you and I :)

I started training again last week, taking it easy. I injured my leg on the 22 August and then a week later injured my shoulder in work.
Today was
Squat 5 reps x 3 sets at 65kg
Press 5 reps x 5 sets 25 kg
Pull-up 5 reps x 5 sets
I train in the mornings and since I've improved my diet I now feel I have the energy to train. Before I would start training and feel like crap, no energy.
