I've got a fucked up back which seems to pop when i go over 150-160kg conv, and i feel pretty weak conv. I'll warm up to around 140-150ish for 3-5 reps conventional, then switch to sumo and do 160 for 3-5 then work sets at 170-190 for reps. This way i make sure i don't completely neglect my lower back.

I used to warm up sumo and then move onto conventional but I do it the other way around now.

Why not max out with your normal comp method, and use the other as an assitance exercise.

I warm up with whichever stance I'm using. Good mornings make sure my lower back doesn't get neglected.
