Howdie - i wouldnt mind trying out a deadlift suit, i tried using my titan boss and found it a bit tricky, would a DL suit be much different ?

If anyone has an old one they wanna sell or one they can lend me for a bit (postage paid by the queen....i.e me)

however if a DL suit is pretty much the same as boss, then im fucked.

What did you find tricky mate, I know cornelius pulls conv in a BOSS, maybe you just need to work on your technique in it, nobody gets it right 1st time in their gear.

My deadlift relys on a very solid starting position - i just couldnt seem to get into that position - i did notice some speed off the floor but i was left in a poor position for lockout and failed a couple of inches from the top

i guess i need to stop fannying around and practice !!

How many times did you try it mate? Took me a good 5 sessions to get to know my T-rex well enough to pull in it sumo, I'd lend it to you, but I think its pretty useless for conventional deadlifting.

Some time if you have your strap too tight on your suit it can be great of the floor but gives you problems locking out or You just get a poor starting position. If you are deadlifting in a Boss with Velcro straps just loosen them a bit.

Have you tried to deadlift in just Briefs?

I have a similar experience in briefs (but not quite as much trouble), but having though about it del, ive not really given them a chance, so i really should have a few sessions in the equipment befor writing it off as a bad doo.

Do you think they give you much pulling conventional Del?

I have not heard many people say they use them except for Sumo.

Which ones do you use, (Titan obviously, :p)

I also assume you would need to wear a belt to keep them in place?

Deadlifting in briefs will give you a bit on a pop of the floor without putting you in a poor position for the lockout for a conventional deadlift. If you use breifs for conventional deadlifting I would go for Titan NXG+ Dual Quad Briefs(narrow stance) or Boss briefs (narrow stance). You will need to wear a belt with them.
