had my squat stuck at around 140 for absolutely AGES
had a meet on sunday and thought i'd get something as training was going a little better than usual. i was all dehydrated and i had a bit of a headache. Was at the recent east mids.
1st lift - 137.5 - very easy - 3 whites
2nd lift - 142.5 - easy - 2 whites (i thought i'd fail with 3 reds cos it felt high)
3rd lift - i asked finch what he thought i should go for, probably 147.5. he told me to go for 150. 3 whites and as easy as the 137.5
i'd been doing front squats to give my back a bit of a break and was doing triples and adding 2.5kg per week. i'll be back to 140 for triples and will add 2.5 kg doing 3 reps (or however many i can) for 5 sets until i get a new max single.
Thanks to everyone on this site for their help. now i hope i can get my other lifts moving too
