i stayed up coz i wanted to see the fight, wow , GSP walked thru hughes , domitation-a-plenty !!!

monson v silvia was a sorefest, but it threatened to wake up a couple of times

I was a light weight, and did not stay up, but watched it this morning, (did not bother to waste 25 minutes watching Sylvia after reading the report on it).

I was well pleased for GSP, excellent fight.

Vera was good too, I always felt Mir was over rated.

yea brandon vera won their first fight easily and same for number 2, he seems a good guy and looks to be next for silvia

did nick diaz fight ?? i missed it or it wasnt shown, must check sherdog....

Oh my god, just found out that GSP beat Matt Hughes... What was the fight like Matt? Gutted I missed that.

I watched it last night - GSP battered him didn't he! He was very lucky to be saved by the bell at the end of the first aswell.

Yeeeeeeesssssssss !!!! Could have told you GSP would annihalate Hughes, I mean I like Hughes but hey he is the future, all round fighting machine!!! Dominated Hughes, and to be honest can't see anyone being able to take him!!! Just wish Sylvia has been handed a spanking to 'cos - I CANT FUCKIN STAND THE USELESS LANKY PRICK!!!:rolleyes:

Yes it was a great fight, Matt fought a stupid game plan trying to trade standing up, his ego obviously got the better of him.

Where did you see him trying to trade standing up?

I saw him trying to defend himself on the feet and getting thwarted every time he went for a takedown.

You did not see Matt throwing punches?

I did not see any real attempts at take downs, there were maybe 2 in the whole fight.

To me it looked as if Matt wanted to trade and show he could stand up with GSP, bad move, :(
