I know I might be getting ahead of myself but I want to know how I can qualify for this. I've checked the BPC site but I can't find any info. I will be in the 110kg junior class (I will be just gone 20) and from what I can see I think I will need to total 707.5kg to qualify. Now I totalled 642.5 at the british open a couple of weeks ago and that was just with a hardcore squat suit and 13mm belt so I reckon once I have learnt the rest of my gear I should be able to get 707.5 by springtime, I would just like to know where and when I can compete. I know the british champs will be june/july and I would like to do a qualifier a good few months before that (march time maybe). Can anybody fill me in?

Do you have to be welsh to go to the welsh qualifier? Because that date sounds pretty ideal.

No, guests are welcome if you dont qualfy at this event then you have northerns and southerns to get total thats the beauty with BPC as the qualifiers are all within 6 weeks of each other, British in Bournemouth will be awesome as well will be in the confence centre on seafront in june also this year it was decided that the heavyweights would lift on saturday and light weights on sunday at next years British so the big boys can have a piss up on saturday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I 'think' the Northern 'could' be in Birmingham & the Southern might be in Windsor.

Now there's a good reason for staying in the 125kg. I was going to trim down to 75kg next year .. never mind .. maybe year after ;)
