howdy,

what equipment would u want, was thinking for conditioninng, but i guess for anything.

I am going to per chase

SAQ sled thingy
SAQ viper belt and resistance elastic band thing
WEighted vested ( I Think these do cheaper versions than SAQ http://www.centurion-rugby.co.uk )
ankle and wrsit weights

access to a gym with:
olympic and powerlifting facilities, aswell as somewhere to do plyos, swiss ball and medicine ball work.
also a decent cables machine

access to a swimming pool where i can do daft shadow boxing and stuff with my 'aqua discs'!

for technique training:
pads, gloves, shingaurds, headguards, thigh pads, punchbag, matted room. CD player!

any others!?
going to get my equipment together and write myself a periodised programme soon

cheers

Manimal!

Hey there. Even if your more of a striking based fighter than a grappler, I would strongly recommend you do some serious grip and forearm work asstrength in these areas is essential to mma success.

not very good at any of them!
Have started to train regular with a friend who is awesome at sub grappling. To be honest i dont love drilling technique, i just love the specific conditioning, building power and functional strength.
