I haven't been online in a while,so im starting an online progress journal as well as my normal one.

My cutting in Spain really really well.I lost a further 2 inches off my waist and kept my strength up by doing standard push up's,chin up's and most exercises working with body weight.I managed to get to the gym a few times, but i couldn't find a gym with any decent powerlifting facilities.I swam for 3-4 hours everyday and ate a diet of pretty much chicken, salmon, prawns and steaks. The food is so cheap out there :-D

While I was out there I also decided against competing at the GPC in October.Id rather keep my strength for some of the big dogs at the WPC next year and i've been busy with exams so I haven't even sorted myself out with a fed.

Im weighing in at 87kg which im chuffed about.

My bench is now at 110kg for 1 rep which is under my PB for reps but im not too concerned at the moment.Im quite confident in my bench because I can increase the weight quite easily without struggling too much.

My squat is at 125kg for one rep.Im struggling at this a bit because im trying to still perfect my form.I've been at the box squats and lunges and stuff to try and keep my explosive power up.

My deadlift is at 130kg which im happy with, because im not too confident on my dead.Need to get my back stronger, but i've had a few problems with my back before I started lifting. They haven't got worse since I've started but im very careful when training that I don't strain it.

I never thought id be lifting weights this big for a good while.I started lifting about 9 months ago.Im lucky though because I pack on muscle pretty easily and my diet is pretty protein packed without changing my diet too much.

Apart from that im hoping to do some more abdomen, forearm and tricep work because im still not happy with them, visually. My biceps are coming along pretty nice though.Since cutting they've gone down to about 14 inch.I also want to review my supps, contemplating moving from the cheap stuff to Dorian Yates.

There is always room for improvement..

Nixon you have great lifts especially your bench but that statement is the biggest load of shit i have ever read if your attempting to make out that the comp wouldnt be hard enough in the GPC,you still would have a very long way to go until you would win best teenager in the GPC.
I wish you all the best but i suggest you also look at whats actually going on aka results from comps and then bare in mind it is much harder to lift in a comp than it is in the gym!
All the best in your training i hope you achieve your goals and thats a fun way to lose weight:mrgreen:

On the contrary im not trying to make out anything. It's too late to join the BPC even if I did want to go to the GPC.The applications finished early August.Any competition obviously requires a lot of work and training and by me pushing any possible competitions till next year it gives me more time to focus and get bigger and stronger.

Hope that clears it up for you Parkin, because you thinking that I think im better than I am is bullshit.

nixon,

get your membership sorted for the BPC.
enter the southern qualifiers in March next year
you'll definelty place in the British 2007 (unless you bomb out)
again, you'll place for the worlds 2007, cos there arent any female teens in your division. (unless you bomb out)

then you choose GPC Worlds or WPC. personally i'd do the GPC one first as you'll have all the british team there to help you out, which is vital for wraps, suits, advice, moral support.. - you'll have got to know them at the other 2 meets.
at the WPC, theres only 5 peeps out of the BPC doing it this year (so far as i'm aware)

good luck.
