Ok, ive just watched the second round - some pretty good fights in there , really looking forward to the finals :

Silva vs CroCop

Nogueira vs Barnett

i was hoping to see silva face barnett in the semi and crocop in the final , still will be awsome.

anyone wants a 'backup' of the second round mailme and ill post one out gratis.

oh, how can silva face chuck in oct if he is doing this in september ???:confused:

If he can hang with CroCop, and not get KO'ed, then I think Chuck is in trouble.

If you have ever seen CroCop in K1, he is a truley world class striker.

I just hope Silva does not do himself any damage in the fight, as I really want to see him against Chuck.

If he can beat CroCop, it would be huge.

CroCrop is going to be tough, the guy is a machine.

I think CroCrop is more competition than chuck.

i thing silva has a chance against crocop - who seems to be only 10lb heavier , and randleman KO'd crocop bigtime,so there is a punchers chance ??

on another note,josh barnett looked good against mark hunt - much better condition than when he was in the UFC

yea, silva better keep out of the way of mirco's big kicks, wich ever way it goes youve godda give respect to silva for going up against much bigger guys - his fight with hunt was brutal, i cant see any of the UFC guys puttin it on the line against tim silva or arlovski

oh,just watched wanderlai v tito ortiz from UFC 25 - even though silva was only 22 - he looked 40 !! lol, he was probably cock of his highschool when he was 7.

well, the good thing is that silva is in a no-lose situation, as with the hunt fight - every one knows he his the best 205er and facing the best heavyweights only makes him look tougher:twisted:

It was a technical draw, but there were special rules in place which limited the time on the ground.

I have not seen it, but most people seem to think if it was judged, Silva would have won.

I just read that Crocop is out, due to a money dispute, he wants more than $150,000 if he wins, which is fair enough, I assumed the prize would be higher than that.

Every one from Chute box jumped into the ring, as they though Coleman was out of order for hitting Shogun after he broke his arm.

Then Mark's corner jumped in, inc Phil Baroini, I think Phil double legged Silva, and Mark stamped on him, but it was hard to see from the angle of the camera.

Maybe Johnny saw a better version?

Thats well harsh of Coleman, I would never stamp on someone unless I thought my life was in danger or something. having said that they allow stamping in Pride, so probly desensitises the whole thing

Dont be too quick to judge, they all ran at him, so I would, (and have :) ) done the same.

A good stamp or 6 goes a long way, ;)

Just saw the Cro cop/Silva fight, thanks to JWB, ;)

He got smashed to fuck, what a performance by Mirko!

The added weight did not suit Silva, and he looked soft to me, not that it had any out come on the fight.

Pride is soooooo much better than UFC, they should not even be compaired.
