IPF is BAWLA.
Unable to give you a list of events as I don't know them.
The BAWLA website is down (for good I think) so not sure where to direct you, Phil will answer once he gets online.

Rich, weights.demon.co.uk has all the ipf (bawla in this country) comps and links to various regional sites.

Thats a good show. Nice venue too. Its an BPO event. Can give the e-mail address of the presidant if you want to join?
If you go onto www.wpfpowerlifting.com there is a link to the BPO homepage. Theres all the records on there.
It would be good to meet the boar.:-D :-D

If you could sent the e-mail address that would be good please mate. Not overly fussed which federation i lift in at the moment. I'm going to assume you can't just rock up though...any ideas of when and where the quallies are being held?
Might even have a play with the deads too...

Heres the email address davidtcarter@hotmail.com. Hope to see you there. You have to join the BPO first and its an open event so no need to qualify. Have a comp in November and one in feb so might just go up to watch.
Go for the dead lift as well.
Fucking bench "specialists"!!!:-D ;) :p :)

Pants. had i known about the psuh pull held over the 22nd and 23rd of april i would've gone and done it for a laugh.
I'm also tempted to do this comp. Is it up to double ply in BPO or is it single only?

i am curious about this also because you welsh/english seem to be doing your BPO comps in single ply is this right??? because in ireland (where the worlds are being held)every one is using multi-ply and i have been told that this is allowed until next year.....just in case some of you come over expecting to be single ply and every one kitted out in super suits!of course i cant be sure if this is correct because i am not part of that fed but i am pretty damn sure multi ply will be allowed at the worlds.

Double ply was banned a few years ago in the BPO. Theres a big debate at the minute about the boss suit as to whether it is double at the straps giving you an advantage over you rivals. It was decided that they would be banned after the europeans.
So be sure to tell your irish guys to get in touch with dave carter to get the updated rule book.
At the moment all the BWLA site except the home page is still available. Try
http://jamesj74.users.btopenworld.com/british/events.htm
However the YNE site normally has the BWLA calender of events up first anyway.

Lol, yeah thats probably fair, its all about the ego eh! I can just about cope with deads, but regulation depth squats are far too much hard work...i'll just keep the trousers on! lol. Cheers for the contact, i'll drop him an e-mail.
