Great pic of John Kiss squatting on the GPC website. The results have been posted for most classes.

I think that's an old photo cos it looks like more than he attempted this time. It is a great pic though.

Thanks for the link. Did you notice that their link for the second flight of juniors is wrong? It should be: http://users.pandora.be/wendiweb/results/ek%20_2006_10.pdf

i was sick as fuck all week long and lost 14lb thus i lifted like a little girl(770kg picked my lifts very poorly!i went from 300kg deadlift opener and went straight for the world record but i just couldnt lock my back out i was one centimeter off:mad: but i beat the russian in my class even though he out squated and benched me(if i had realised he was lifting what he did i would have done a 3rd bench but i was out my head on panadol and lemsip:p )the only part i enjoyed was chatting with all the brits and seeing my fav girl again!
i spent the first 2 days laying on my bed feeling like death and i couldnt eat so if i think about it i am happy with how i did.
for some reason i was entered in the junior and opens and they gave me an open 1st place when i won even though the open 90s was next day:confused:
i didnt like the mono lift and squat bar as i found them unstable.
ger mac lifted super even though he ripped his leg on his 2nd squat he still did world record bench even though he couldnt use his leg drive!
sam grayham won the 100kg masters and kyle vauls came 4th in 100kg opens!
worst part was watching bull dog miss all his benchs,i was gutted:(

bit of a disaster felt totally lethalgic on the day and still do nothing felt right should have opened raw and could have still won class but was chasing a big total and bench .mind u i learnt a lot by bombing its not where u start but where u finish but i will turn it around . well done to johnnie kiss 1st 125 steve mids and steve plunkett 3rd in 110s and 90s and ian humphries 4th in 82.5 a hard class.pj was v unlucky cornellius was excellant after being ill tony cross 1st 90s .the irish lads were great sam and kylie and gerry mac was a asuperb lifter and b a great coach who helped the gb team tremendousley shame we didnt have a combined team.lee marshall lifted well as did les thomas mick king did well with his bench. all in all it was a good trip and good to see jk getting back to form as is steve mids who can only get stronger plunkster had a good comp and is now getting more confident ian hump is a good lifter and is always in a tough class but alwys gives 100 %.the gb team needs to be a team lifters and offiicials remember its hard enough to get a fair call from other countreis remember we are a team and must act as one not a group of single lifters remember it is gb u represent.but dont ask midsy to drink as he spends all night upside down on the toilet and sick on the way home.

Well done everyone!!
Got to have bad days to have good ones, if you never put 100% in, then work hard and come back and do it next time.
Good to see GB put a strong team out.

cornelius, their was nothing wrong with the squat bar or the squat rack and you need to know the rules before you say a deadlift was good , the lift was not good if you think that you know better than the international referees why dont you become one .

@extreme......nothing wrong with the squat bar?what about the fact that the plates would not spin when pushed?
i sayed i was disapointed that he missed the lift because it was very close.......i said fuck all about the judges giving a wrong decision all i said was that he did lock it out and it was disapointing for some of us watching(it was a tight class!),i see how you may assume by how i wrote my post that i made a comment about the judging BUT i did not and if you think so i take it back ok?(i only got home when i wrote that post and i was very tired and really didnt even think that could offend some one)
i dont know who you are and to be honest i dont know who was judging when pj was lifting because i was just watching the comp.
i assume you are the judge and i appoligize if you got the feeling that i was saying some thing bad about you, believe me i never would say any thing bad about any one unless its to their face.
as far as becoming a judge yes hope fully one day i can do that because it looks like some thing that could be enjoyable:)
i appoligize one last time because i really dont want to make any one think i was bad mouthing you or any body else and in future i will put more effort into wording my posts correctly.

cornelius , no i am not a judge i just know that last deadlift was not a good lift and the explanation for the red lights were givern the bar was hitched several times which is a no lift.
no lifter wants to travel to another country and lose by such a narrow margin
but that is powerlifting , if that lift had been passed just think how the other lifter would have felt.
you are a fine lifter with a good career in front of you and i am sure that you will make an inetrnational referee

@extreme....i fully agree and i edited my post because i could see what you ment,i need to pay more attention to what i say.
thank you for your compliments i was very happy and lucky to win my class the other guy in my class was very strong and much smarter with his attempts!with such a awfull performance/total i was terrible ashamed and to make such bad judgements in attempt jumps, sick or not one should use their brains better when choosing ones lifts.
thank you for bringing my wrongly written post to my attention so i could change it before i offended some one.:)
