Whats that exercise called the turkey curl? Iv never seen anything that resembles that exercise and whats with the wrist straps?

and the rack is like a foot away from you so why dump the dbell - if your strong enough to pick it up your strong enought to put it back!

As the source for Cuntos' vid (I saved this and a clip of a 800lb squat - also in Cuntos' possession - for posterity and comic value when I came across them some time ago), I would just like to point out:

In his defence of the infamous 'bar-drop' incident, STA cited two justifications (before descending into threats):
1. bar was his own
2. too fatigued to rack bar.

One may scratch one's chin doubtfully, but never mind. However, applying the same logic, are we also expected to condone the final dumbell toss by assuming that:
1. the dumbell was one that he has brought to the gym
2. he was so fatigued from the exercise that he couldn't place the dumbell on the floor?

I have been pondering this conundrum while deriving great instructional benefit from the demonstration of correct form for laterals - and to think that I've wasted all these years by liftnig the weight with my deltoids!

Just a matter of interest do you compete in strongman/powerlifting if so what are your lifts in comp not gym, equip/raw
most of the guys on this forum are british/european/world champs and are competeing on a regular basis,also what training do you follow as i personally follow westside methods as most do on forum ,whats your weight as we have a virtual powerlifting stats as well

I compete in the 308 class,so 305-315 is my weight range.

flat bench-550
incline bench-530
overhead press seated-450
incline db press 210*3
overhead db press-200*1,190*2
squat-805 SSB-belt n old briefs
deadlift-700

Most of these are on video.

The "fairy" that you refer to here has been competing at world level for more years than he can remember and squats well over 4 times his bodyweight and benches close on 3 times his bodyweight in IPF WORLD Powerlifting Championships so I think he deserves a little respect.

This means that you'd have to be squatting over 1200lbs and benching over 900 to match him pound for pound - think about it!

And another thing STA (if it's really you and not some nasty spoilt 9 year old) If you are prepared to publish hilarious videos of yourself doing ridiculous and downright dangerous things then you should be prepared to take some piss taking. If you're going to react like this towards everyone then you're going to have a very stressfull next 10 years or so. IMHO.

You could end up being a ledgend for the wrong reason!!!!!......Imagine that!!!!!......................................... ....................................

One is a high box sqaut for reps with the lowest height I had in my gym.

thats what i do...lol...everytime sta makes a post...hes a legend in his own mind....look i respect powerlifters i actually consider myself one...i lift alone at the gym but i love squats,deads ,bench etc...i am 5'11 240 nothing special but i can put up some good weight without the help of spotters because i lift by myself..but i have read many posts on here and you guys are an inspiration to me and seem pretty cool.i believe sta is a prime example of someone who gives the sport a black eye..imo...like i said nice baord and i think ill hang around awhile maybe ill learn something

None of us would dare to brag about our lifts cos there's always someone much better (except for Andy Bolton cos he is the best deadlifter ever at the moment, but he knows there are better benchers out there, etc, etc).

If someone tries really hard and squats 100k in a competition they will receive much more encouragement and kind words than a prick who squats 300k but then goes and brags about it to all and sundry and is basically a dick about it!
