I can't see anything wrong with that. I'd like to know why he failed!

Looks like a good lift to me, so I'd definitely have passed it if I was in the centre chair. Maybe his arse raised? Doesn't look like it, but it's just possible I guess.

IMO his right arm might not have been locked out when the spotters took it. If he didn't get a rack command, obviously that's a problem.
thats a shame !!
forgive my ignorance but would that have broken some sexy record ??
(i know a 700 lb bench is record enough !!)
top stuff

Good lift IMO. Was that IPF conditions? I didn't hear a press command?

The only thing i can see them failing on is the pause. Thats why I think that rule is stupid, some guys touch and go and get whites other pause for 2 seconds and get reds.

Without having a clear side view, to check for arse/foot problems, the only problem that I see is the lockout. If you look *very* carefully, there is a slight pause about 6" from lockout and then a final push to lockout. The pause could be harshly construed as the bar having stopped/moved down before a second push. One could also argue that his head lifts from the bench. *However*, this would be very harsh indeed, and if you look at the lights, it is the side judges who have penalised, not the centre judge - in other words, I suspect that the infraction is hidden from our view.
