hi robt
just really find out about the site. very good and informative. Hopefully can learn a lot from all the guys that post here.
what about the match on sunday, at least we got some revenge for last year altough considering half your team from last year are out injured I dont know how much satisfaction we can take from it.

The game was terrible (for us anyway) although I don't remember too much of it to be honest as that guinness doesn't half go down well!!!!

We also got caught up in that big riot! we didn't even know there was going to be a protest there but our hotel was on O'Connell street and as we left the hotel it all kicked off. We managed to squeeze through and get into a pub where the landlord pulled the shutters down and locked us all in. When we finally left the place after about 4 hours or so the whole place was like a war zone, we couldn't believe that all that had just happened outside!!

cornelious would like to go up to the comp but wife is due our second baby around that time so probably wont be able to get up it. Bad timing on my part because all the comps in ireland these year are in march and april and i'll probably miss the lot of them.
Hows the training going with Ger Mac, I would think you must have made great progress with the best lifter ever from ireland training you.

Hey robt thats terrible been stuck in a pub in Ireland for four hours (lol) , i'm surprised you could walk after that not to mind go to the match.

read about it in your journal mate:

Bench 4 reps 190kgs for 2 sets (down from last week, no real explaination apart from maybe hitting a plateau, hence back to 8 reps and no belt or wraps next week)
squat 8 reps 210kgs no belt or wraps, felt good ( probably too easy but you have to take one step back to move forward 2 steps )
Super set : 140 kgs: close grip bench 8 reps, drop set 3 reps medium grip bench drop set 3 reps wide grip bench

absolutley fantastic !!!:-D
