hi guys,
all I can say about it , is weightlifting in wales is dying, there has been no drive in recruiting new members, this year fees have gone up 100% to £23. There are no plans for any international comps due to lack of funding. there still is no calender of events for this year yet.
If anybody wants to see what crap we are in please attend the welsh champs 4th feb cardiff starts at 12 noon. maybe we could get into double figures for attendance.

Your not wrong. I think british weight lifting is dying. No disrespect but i can't see the english weightlifting team winning that many medals at the Commonwealth games this time out.

Weightlifting is a great sport. We have the wrong people running it in this country!

I see wieghtlifting as a dying sport and powerlifting as a growing sport!
