right guys i am running a bench press comp in my local pub.
the globe inn landore swansea. the date is sunday the 22nd if january.
if any of you want to come along then send me a pm for the details.
the idea is to raise saome cash for the W.P.U so that we can send some lifters to future international events.

this one in the pub is an individual comp and no the drinks are not on me sorry matey

John, Phil's going to apply a new formula to this comp, the person who wins will be that person's best lift + bodyweight + the number of stella's they can drink. If the women can't keep up then that's their problem - equal rights and all that...

I am weighting closing to 90kg now, I will be weighting over 90 kg over the hollidays. So I think I will be an underweight 100 kg lifter for the competition. I shall call you exactly 1 week before the competition just to confirm. PLease private messeage me your number.

Do I need to pay any money in advance? Please let me know cos I will be in China for the next month (cool cos I will get a chance to train at the city govenment-owned olympic lifting training centre); and I will leave for Hong Kong this sunday.
