I took this video at the IPF Worlds a couple of weeks ago. It's Vladimir Bondarenko squatting 410, 430 and 445k. My brother is the spotter on the extreme left.

Awesome squatting.

When I heard the music, I thought this don't sound like an IPF comp, until they killed it just as he gets under the bar...LOL

Excellent squatting - and what a narrow stance too, both feet and hands for a big guy.

They played loud music at both the Commonwealths and 4 Nations Justin but as you noticed, they cut it during the lift!

My brother pointed out that he's almost making it into a front squat, but with the bar behind his neck. That sounds daft, but looking at hands, arms, knees etc you will see what he means.

Great lifting by Bondarenko think he's done 400kg sumo deadlift too, Siders will have his work cut out if they meet at next years worlds!

Your bro's looks pretty big cuntos, what are his lifts?

He weighed a similar amount to Bondarenko (around 153k). Not sure what his lifts are at the moment Nick. He hasn't done a PL comp for about 18 months as he's been doing strongman (and snapped his quadriceps tendon by dropping an atlas stone on his knee). I think he was somewhere around 320-240-300 but his best total was only 805 (after my performance I think screwing up on competition day might be genetic - LOL). He's stronger than that now though, so we'll have to get him to compete again soon and see where he is.
