Cheers for the results. Strangely enough, Dave Carter appears to be the best lifter with 837.5 @ 133.7kg whereas Craig is second with 898.5 @ 99.6kg. I guess they must have a massive factor for age (Dave is 58 whereas Craig is 30). Awesome lifting from both, but it seems odd that Dave's formula score is so much higher than Craig's (938 compared to 823). The WDFPF use the Schwartz formula which also has an allowance for age, whereas in the IPF they use the Wilks formula and there is no allowance for age. I'm not sure which is the best approach to be honest.

Well done to everyone though, particularly the British ones. :)

EDIT: Looking at the photo of best lifters am I right in guessing they have a best lifter for each age category? In which case the difference in formula doesn't make any difference.

master lifters are calculated via the mccullough formula and everyone else is reshel but if you workout daves reshel result it is around 709. something just to put it in context however you shouldnt take away the credit that dave is a hell of alot older and lifting well
