Awesome session tonight at Kicks. We had a full crew of Welsh Powerlifters. I trained with Ryan, Chris, Dai, Phil, Mike, Craig, Peter and Brownie.

This is a large file (lot of lifters) around 38Mb, so if you haven't got a decent broadband connection rate, your in for a little wait for it to download.

320kg, Chris failed to lock out 340kg on the very last clip.

Good lifting ,am I right in thinking you have deadlifted conventional before Justin ?
And was that a new personal best for Phil Richards

Yeah, I used to pull conventional, most I ever pulled conventional in competition was 275kg.
Switching to sumo was the best move I could have made. Ed Coan's 82.5kg world record of 358.5kg has stood since 1988, I fancy my chances at it in another year or two.

Not sure if Phil pulled a PB, I don't think he did.
We want to get Phil's deadlift up, he will be unbeatable on the world platform with a respectable pull. I think he said 275-280kg would be enough as he is such a big bencher and squatter.

Nice deadlifting! When I first saw Chris' deadlifts, I realised that I'd misunderstood the term "speed deadlifts" until now!
