Well, summer is well and truly upon us, so now's the time to say DRINK MORE WATER!!!!
Due to increased sweating, I would recommed most people up their water intake by about a litre a day. If you are working outside, or doing a physical job, more than that. If you are training, up your intake per session by 0.5-1 litre, making it 2l + for most people in an hours training.
For instance, I have now upped my average water (just water) intake to about 4.5 litres a day (on rest days). This is on top of coffee etc.
Do with this what you will, but if you choose to ignore me or moan about the fact it might make you go to the toilet more than once a week (for 20 minutes - peter kay fans!) don't come pissing (or indeed, not) and moaning about feeling like "poo", training not going properly, and looking bloated!
Also, if you are cutting (as lots will be during summer), a good tip is to drink as much iced water as you can. This will slighty increase metabolic rate and also have good effect on the hard-to-shift brown fat.
