Welshdragon is a tidy fella Rob. You should get chatting with him, as you both could help to bring each other on. Don't listen to peoples her say.

I think I remember reading what you are referring to above, mentioned about some wildcard competitor. Don't remember the exact post but I don't think he had any gripe with you. He just found it hard to believe they would invite someone to the BSM without ever competing before. Was it your first comp???

Rob, I often train with Welshdragon (aka Dale Norris) and he´s a decent (and fucking HUGE!!!!) guy. I read the post to which you are referring over on another forum and he wasn´t having a gripe at you mate, just the system in as much as he and other strength athletes have been performing at quite a high level for a while now and didn´t get an invite wheras somebody else got an invite without any prior competetive experience. It wasn´t a dig at you personally mate, just the politics involved with the sport because he quite rightly felt that he should have got an invite after winning Wales´Strongest Man this year.

I´m currently creating him a website at www.dalenorris.co.uk but there seems to be a problem with my wbserver at the moment and I´m in Majorca so I won´t be able to fix it until the weekend.

By the way, he´s competing in the White Cliffs comp over the weekend if you fancy competing against him...

Hi Rob to start with as Robt explained above I wasnt griping about you, If I was in your situation I would of taken the chance to compete myself at metrex britains strongestman! But I was having a gripe at the selection process! It took me 2 years to qualify for last years Britains strongestman and I was talking to Colin bryce 1 week out from this years metrex brits and he told me that I might get a phone call in the week to compete but for some one to be chosen to compete without any previous experiance is baffaling!

Unlike your self Rob I will be competing this weekend at the whitcliffs comp where there are still space`s for competitor(if your up for it) and I will be competing at Uks strongestman which I qualified for(no invite on a whim)!
