No not at all, dont need your ears to lift he he.

Believe it or not I have been told a couple of times in gyms to get a doctors note to say its ok for me to lift, silly really. Good thing is that im not distracted easily ha ha.

The only time it was a problem was last year when i did a competition and I told the guy i was deaf but it slipped his mind, so he was calling for me to attend over and over and it was only when some guy asked me if it was me! Was embarrassing cos i got some looks.
