WSA Welsh Cup

This sunday is the WSA Welsh Cup in Llanelli.
Going on the applications it looks set to be an awesome competition.

David Squires and Craig Coombes are using the comp as a warm up prior to BPO Euros. Our very own Robert (big daddy) Thomas is going to turn his hands from strongman training to put up some impressive numbers in the big 3.
Phil Richards is back from the BWLA World Championships, with I'm sure lots to tell us about the world class lifting that took place.
Toddie is going to do some damage in the 75kg class, if not too himself with that super tight bench shirt he's using..lOL
Plus lots more top class lifters. Be a shame to miss, so get your ass down there and give the lads some support.

It was a great day out, with some great lifting.

Jess the only female lifter smoked a 180kg deadlift, which I think is a record, I bet there are many lads that couldn't do that.

Phil nearly took his head off with a flying barbell, I have never seen him move so fast, his head popped into his body like a turtle.

Rob smoked a 200kg raw bench, but I pissed the movie clip up, and Rob is never going to forgive me.

Toddie lifted strong and and set new pb's, and actually got that super tight shirt on.

James our junoir lifter also lifted strong and was very impressive to watch, big numbers to come I think.

Dave and Craig travelled down a big distance to lift and were only going to go light as a warm up prior to the BPO Euros. I knew they were full of shit, as both of them went heavy and stuck up some huge numbers.

I met Paul Murphy and his two disciples Chris and Lee at their first comp, they lifted really well and beat all there pb's.

I will edit and put up the clips and pics tomorrow in work.

Dai is chuffed with the bad boy he just let off, he evacuated all the seats in close proximity,.... yeah, yeah, we all blame it on the protien shake!!!... Craig is doing a good job of holding his breath, but looking how red his face is, it looks like he can't hold on much longer...Water ain't going to rescue you Craig, luckily I came to rescue with some talc dust and saved a total evac of the building.
