If I don't check my e-mail for a few days, I get about 100+ spam e-mails.

The same as with junk mail, it's best to send it back. If they send out 1000 letters or 1000 e-mails, and everyone sends them back, then that's a big waste of time for them to sort through them.
ith junk mail, just put return to sender on the envelope and put back in the post.

Count yourself lucky, I get at least 200+ per day - it's getting rediculous, I've had to install anti-spam software on both my email server and on my desktop machine!
