I'm going to be ordering a centurion suit soon I think (opinions on this gratefully recieved too) so was going to buy some wraps while I was there. However I can't seem to decide which wraps would be better for me.
Titanium seem to be better if you bounce out of the hole (?) which I don't
Anyone have any experience, let me know!
Cheers

Alex, get a Boss suit instead of a ceturion, unless you intend to lift IPF.
Can't comment on the wraps mate, sorry.

I've got this bizzare fixation on being able to turn up to any meet and compete, so ideally I'd like my gear to be single ply and IPF legal. TBH i've never heard of the boss suit before now, it's not on liftinglarge.com ....is it a double ply?

Titaniums are the same as inzer z in application mate.
if you get a centurion, get the straps shortened, as mine isnt that effective cus the straps are long.
i know people of people getting 150lbs out of their centurions, but you must get it screaming tight all over. the straps should be excruciatingly tight.
ps liftinglarge are pretty cool guys

The boss suit is single ply but technically two layers glued togther, so the single layer is thick. At the moment it's legal in BPO (single ply fed), BPC, but not BWLA etc. as it is not IPF legal.
Ask Chris about the Boss Suit, he uses one.

Bumping for chris about the boss suit and anyone about the wraps..
Also, just been on the titan page, see another suit called the victor? Anyone know anything about this? I'm getting confused now....

Still looking for input on the suit!
Also, probably Justin especially, why have I just got an invite to the BPO British?!

Yes....
I've been looking into it and I think there's a chance I could have got a junior qualifying total, however I'm 24 2 days before the british!

Bodyworld.Nutrition@virgin.net e-mail Dave Mannering and check with him if your unsure.
If they have sent you an invite, then I would just go for it, even if it is a mistake. They won't stop you lifting, probably just count as a guest lift if they are wrong.
It's a brilliant day out, and Garry Bamsey puts together the best comp I have ever been to.

The Titan Boss suit is a nice suit to squat with, if you have a realy wide stance, thats just my opinion. I find the wider you take your legs out the better. The straps are loose at the top and tighten as you squat down. The suit works like a coil. I also deadlift with the boss at the moment, but I can do the same deadlift with any regular suit, so dont think it helps much there. The boss is a nice suit to help your squat, metal also do a nice squat suit. Andy Bolton wears one. Get one buddy, I think it will def help your squat.
