Just got back and it went well. I did qualify.

I had plans on using the metal deadlift suit to squat in as the squat suit I have ordered hasn't arrived yet, when warming up it was obvious it was a no, no. So I was going to have to squat in just briefs, I thought I wasn't going to make it, but all the time Dai Squires my mentor was giving my so much encourgement it was hard not to do well.

I opened at 230kg, then I went for 250kg which was easy, so I went for 265kg which I got up but I don't think there was much more left in the tank.

I opened with a bench of 130kg which I failed for once again not paying attention and listening to the ref. My 2nd attempt was 150kg which I got comfortably and then I pushed 160kg which felt good.

It left me needing to deadlift 232.5kg to qualify, which I felt confident at getting but wasn't counting my chickens until I had actually done it. I opened with 220kg and my 2nd attempt was for 232.5kg which felt easy, so I went for 250kg for my last lift and got it but with not much more in the tank.

Let me tell you how gay I felt sunday morning shaving my legs. The briefs were pulling the hairs on my legs so I went for the smooth and silky look, done a terrible job, left clumps of hair everywhere and cut myself to bits, my skin is still sore today from the shaving rash. I don't know how you women do it.

Might try Immac next time, (shit i'm starting to turn beef), next I'll be getting manicures...LOL
