Great service from irongladiators.
1st class customer service from Ashley and Brent. Any questions about sizing etc. they are able to answer.
Whether you’re totally new to using equipment or have lots of experience they can answer your questions and give you the right advice on all of Inzer equipment. Including equipment that is not even available on Inzers site yet.
You know the advice is first class when you consider the person giving you the advice has squatted 1075lbs using an Inzer squat suit.
It’s an added bonus that they also deliver the equipment in record time while avoiding any custom charges with their expert delivery methods.

The fun began when I tried the equipment on.
I don't have suit slippers but hopefully I will by the end of the week.
The briefs were an absolute nightmare to get on. I have quite large quads from having stumpy legs and it was hard work getting them high enough up my legs. With a years quota of baby powder and some blood and sweat, I got them on. I soaked in the bath for 10 minutes or so and then done a couple of sets with 120kg and molded them to me a bit. Let’s hope the suit slippers help with getting the briefs on because at the moment it takes too long.
I then moved on to the rage x. I new this was going to be fun, but it turned out to be easier than the briefs to get on. I did cut myself up in the inside of my elbow, the cuff is real tight and a bit long. I have heard it’s bit of a bitch to touch with the rage x, so I tried 130kg and no joy, then 150kg and was still not close to touching. I then went for a soak in the bath and got 120kg to touch nicely.

Good idea, my kid's got one of those inflatable ones so perhaps I'd better wait until the summer before getting a suit!

Cheers for the link. Had to do a double take on price much cheaper than direct form inzer with the postage (UPS charges). Was gonna ask if you got stung with customs charge but I see you didnt. Glad I put off my order saved me a small bundle.

It's an awesome shirt, I used it to max for the first time this week and it's performance showed my piss poor tricep strength from the start. It gave me about 25kg. I couldn't lock out anymore. I am going to work on my lock out strength now, lots of board pressess and rack lockouts. I think I could get another 25+kg out of it once I work on the triceps.
Plus I have it super tight and with suit slippers and a training partner to help, I can fly into the shirt pretty quickly. It also doesn't cut me up anymore.
The first time I put it on, it cut me up, but I soaked in a warm bath with it on for about 10+ mins and then done some work in it, took it off and left it to dry. I think it's stretched to my shape a little.
It's also not as hard to touch as people have led me to believe, I can get 90kg to touch.
Just spray the neck line and shoulder stitching with a water spray, this will help the shirt flex a little.

The shirt works out to be about £70 plus shipping for single ply, about £15 extra for double ply.
Brent sized me up in the shirt and he did a great job, it fits like a glove. If your interested in getting the shirt, I would e-mail Brent at brent_mikesell@hotmail.com and give him your sizes and ask him how much to add to each measurement.

Glad you got all your gear in time. Sounds like the briefs are perfect, hopefully after a few workouts they will strech a little so you dont have to sit in that bath as soaking them will decrease there performance. As for the shirt you could probably get away with cutting the sleeves back about an inch, i just cut 4 inchs off mine and still can't touch with 230kgs! Once you get your tri strengh up there be no need to soak the shirt 160-170kgs will go up for you. Good luck
Oh and Brent squatted 1141lbs in the Inzer Canvas :D

I only had to soak the briefs and shirt in the bath the once. I did it the frst time I put them on, now they fit me better. I can get into the shirt quite quickly now, briefs take just a little longer, but no where as bad as the frst time.
The metal deadlift suit came this week also, getting the straps up for the first time was fun. My mate Craig lifted my feet off the ground getting the straps up. I can't use it without briefs on because the suit pushes my balls into my stomach an it really hurts. It's ok with the briefs on, acts like a crotch gaurd...lol
It's pretty difficult to set up on the bar with the suit, but I can just about pull myself into position and the suit gives my awesome rebound off the bottom. It takes me a little out of my groove, making me use more back than leg drive.
I like the stretchy poly the suit is made out of.

have you got the hardcore suit yet?
how do you like it?
i found the same thing with my inzer deadlift suit, think dropping in fast may help

I couldn't get the hardcore on, my ass and thighs are too fat...LOL I could get about half way up my thighs and then it would not budge an inch. I tell myself it's because I'm small and have stumpy legs, Amy tells me it's cos I'm fat back bacon.
I sent the Hardcore back to Brent and was going to go two sizes up with it, but as I have been working on pushing my stance out and with Brent telling me how much better the Hybrid is, I swapped it for a double canvas hybrid instead. Got to wait 3 weeks to get it made as they are all made custom.
I will have to squat to qualify for the British on April 10th Raw. That's going to be fun, I got to hit 657.7kg to qualify and I think it will be close if I do make the qualifying total. Fingers crossed!!
It has all been rush rush getting the equipment as I wasn't going to compete in BPC until next year, but I decided I fancied giving this year a go, the experience will only help me do better when I do compete again next year.
I also have got the Commonwealth and 4 nations I have promised to compete in, so I have a busy year ahead of me.

Yeah I still got the briefs. They are a great fit. I'll still use them to squat .
Great, I'll be in touch as soon as I get it. The squat suits are definately the hardest piece of equipment to get on IMO.

are you sure the canvas is BPC legal?
I was under the impression that only denim + poly was legal

• One shirt (of a design consistent with what is commonly called a T-shirt or bench shirt) with or without sleeves may be worn under the lifting suit. It must be an individual article of fabric and consisting cloth, polyester or denim material. Canvas is not permitted. Its construction may consist of multiple plies to a thickness of one or two plies, but must, as a whole, be a singular component. Reasonable patching to repair tears is permitted, but the number and placement of the patching shall not be designed to increase, enlarge or enhance the body's natural musculature, or to alter the design of the shirt. It must have the manufacturer's original and true collar in place and not be excessively loose or widely open. The back of the shirt must be closed, either with standard shirt material as part of the singular shirt construction or with the appropriate Velcro closure. Patches and additional materials sewn into the back do not constitute the correct closure. Sleeves must be short and remain above the elbow when worn. It may be of any color or colors, but shall not portray indecency or be offensive to the spirit of the competition.
He's right you know! (But since he's not using it he'll be fine!)
You can wear a Canvas Squat Suits, You cannot wear Canvas Bench Shirts. In the BPC

DEL is correct. its only the bench shirts they worry about.
BPC seem quite open minded about equipment, no equipment checks, only say no to "anything silly"
Justin Hurley

Yes you can wear canvas squat suits. I seen lifters wearing them at the BPC British, I'm sure AJ wore one.
BPC is the British extension of the WPC, basically wear what you want (within reason).

Yup i sure did wear mine!
Justin the BPC is the extension of the GPC.

Ah, thought we were talking about bench shirts!
Here's the suit bit
• A lifting suit shall be worn. It must be an individual full-length article of cloth fabric. Its construction may consist of multiple plies to any thickness but must, as a whole, be a singular component. The straps must be worn over the shoulders at all times while lifting in competition. It may be of any color or colors. The length of the leg, when worn must not exceed beyond mid-thigh (medial point between crotch and top of kneecap). Women may wear a one-piece suit of comparable design to the lifting suit. Leotards with sleeves or high cut leg lines are not permitted.
• Only one lifting suit may be worn.
On a side note I'd like to see someone squatting in more than one suit, would be fun to watch! Anyone ever tried it?

The canvas is hard enough to get depth in add in briefs and there is 4 ply, im not sure you would get a positive effect with many more plys in there.

The BPC do check your equipment if you break a record.

what is the GPC?
so can BPC lifters compete in WPC contests?
AJ Roberts

A lot of the european countries did not like the fact that Ernie Frantz sold the WPC to KK (owner of WPO) and so formed the GPC. Basically the WPC is now mainly USA lifters and the Finnish. KK is trying his hardest to get the European countries to come back and is making a lot of changes to try and suit the needs of the lifters. Right now KK is willing to let lifters lift in the WPC but you will need to contact him. There are a lot of politics in all this and depending on who you talk you will get different stories.
