Vitali: I retired Lennox! http://www.fightnews.com
By David Greene
In an exclusive interview with Fightnews.com, heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko had some strong opinions about former champ Lennox Lewis. "The question is, who was the winner of the last fight?" Klitschko stated as he recalled his stoppage by Lewis due to a badly damaged eye. Vitali added, "That's why everyone wants to see a second fight. I speak about it very openly. I sent him into retirement and Lennox Lewis doesn't want to make his comeback." Regarding May 30 foe Hasim Rahman, Klitschko said, "Rahman is a very tough fighter, and he's the strongest fighter right now in the heavyweight division. I don't want to underestimate him, and I don't want to make the same mistake like Lennox Lewis made three years ago."
