Inzer Knees sleeves

Are these any good. Do they help as much as regular wraps for knee pain.?

I'm not sure what you mean by pain? My knees wraps turn my legs blue :D I think the knee sleves are geared toward strongman. I've never seen a pair but im sure they do there job, but nothing beats out a knee wrap...well except a cast.

Not for me. I use normal wraps, and how the hell do you squat with them so tight??

My training partner is rehabbing his knees, he's not interested in how much the knee sleeves will give to his 1RM. He's more interested in how much easier they are to put on and if they will help with the pain.
He uses inzer z wraps but he uses them with light weight to relieve the pain while he gets his knees better. After watching him wrap and unwrap for every set, I thought that the knee sleeves might be a better choice.

As AJ says, they are primarily used for strongman as a kind of support aid so if your mate is only looking for support and not "assistance" then I rekon they'd do fine although I don't know about helping with the pain, perhaps he could try morphine aswwell :o
